Galandia Water World Area
Thermal centre Galandia in Slovakia has outdoor and indoor areas with swimming pools, rides and slides. The indoor area of Galandia thermal park is equipped with two large swimming pools and water attractions: relaxing massage jets, massage stream, rotating water flow and a large swimming area for children. The pool is only 130cm (4.2 ft) deep.
Apart from the large relaxing swimming pool there is also a hyper thermal rest swimming pool with hot water, a landing pool and a small shallow swimming pool for little children in Galandia water park. The water temperature is nice and warm. The outdoor area is equipped with 3 rides (1 leads to the indoor area), a landing pool, children’s pool and a sporting swimming pool.
Services and entertainment
The indoor area is opened all year around, the outdoor area only in the summer season. The water park is equipped with electronic key system and all visitors of Galandia Water Park are given electronic wristlets so there is no need to carry any locker key or purse. The use of the cloakroom is included in the entrance fee. The wristlet will allow you to enter the indoor as well as the outdoor areas of Galandia water parks. When leaving, you will be charged for the services used and the time spent in this Slovakia water park.
A coffee bar and a fast food will satisfy your appetite. Two full service snack bars offer plenty to eat and drink. You can rest on deck chairs placed along the pool,; enjoy the playground and the grassy area of the Galandia water park.
If you are looking for sport, there are exercise and spinning bicycles placed next to the indoor swimming pool, an outdoor children playground and a beach volleyball playground.
Admission prices:
The ticket prices in Galandia water parks vary according the time you want to stay. It also depends on whether you want to visit outdoor swimming pool only or enjoy also indoor swimming pools and attractions of Galandia water park. A three-hour entry for adults to both, indoor and outdoor areas is 300 Skk (€10), and 500 Skk (€16.50) is the ticket price if you want to stay all day. A child entrance is 180/300 Skk (€6/10). A three-hour entry to the outdoor area for a child form 4 – 14 years costs 100Skk (€3.3) and a whole day entry costs 200 Skk (€6.6), adults will pay 150/300 Skk (€5/10). Seniors and disabled people have 20% and Galanta’s citizens 40% discount.
